I love to ride my bike. I have two adult daughters whom I used to coach in soccer. I really enjoy providing a positive environment for the kids to enjoy and grow physically and mentally.

I have loved riding bikes since I was a kid. And now riding with my son is one of my joys. I am happy to support getting more kids on bikes and to help coach on my son’s CCC team .

COACH + WEB & SOCIAL MEDIA
Since I first started racing road and mountain bikes in high school, I’ve been hooked. Now in my sixth year of coaching for CCC, I’m passionate about giving back to the sport and sharing that excitement with the next generation. Coaching mountain biking is about having fun, building community, and developing the skills that lead to success both on and off the bike.

I was a roadie back in high school in the 70s, but since the 90s mountain biking has been my passion. I’m stoked to see the current generation of Middle and High School MTB riders with that same passion, and enjoying our local trails and competing in the league. Its truly an honor to coach such amazing riders!

Mountain biking is what keeps me going! It helps me stay fit, enjoy the outdoors, and refresh my mind. I’m beyond excited to be back in action after healing from my hip injury and can’t wait to continue building strength and endurance. This season is shaping up to be a fantastic journey, and I’m eager to work with our dedicated coaches, parents, and board members. The most rewarding part for me is watching our riders grow and thrive, and I’m excited to see what this season will bring.

Being on dirt is my happy place. As a coach, I want to share that happiness with the riders and my fellow coaches. It is important to me that I nurture others in a sport that I love and has given me so many things. Such as confidence, challenges both mental and physical, friendships, adventure, a few dings and bruises too and much more. I love learning new things and sharing my own experiences as a give and take process. I believe that, as coaches, we get as much or more than we give.

It’s an opportunity to share a common interest/passion with my son, while simultaneously building my knowledge, experience, confidence, and mental/physical endurance in MTB to help, support and assist the CCC Coaches/Team in delivering its mission.

MTB is an awesome sport and the people that do MTB are amazing people. The opportunity to help coaching the CCC MTB team is incredible because I’m passionate about helping young athletes develop not only their love for MTB but also their confidence, resilience, and love for the outdoors. Mountain biking is an incredible sport that challenges both the mind and body, and I believe it teaches important life lessons—perseverance, problem-solving, and teamwork.
